Brandoni Gate Valve 20.900 / 21.900 Soft Seated

The Brandoni 20.900 and 21.900 are flanged gate valves with elastomer-coated wedge, designed for flow isolation in water networks, HVAC systems, water treatment, sewage, industrial auxiliary lines, and irrigation networks. Not suitable for steam, throttling, or flow regulation, nor for fluids containing oils or hydrocarbons.

Differences 20.900 and 21.900

The 20.900 features a flat body with reduced installation length, compliant with EN 558/1 Series 14 / DIN 3202 F4.
The 21.900 has an oval body with long pattern face-to-face, compliant with EN 558/1 Series 15 / DIN 3202 F5. Selection is based on available installation length, existing piping, and project specifications.

Standards and Connections

Flanges comply with EN 1092 / ISO 7005. The datasheet indicates design according to EN 1074, EN 1171, ISO 7259, EN 12516, ISO 5210, EN 12570, marking EN 19 and 100% testing according to EN 1074 / EN 12266 Cat. A / ISO 5208 Cat. A.

Actuation and Accessories

For the 20.900 DN40–DN300 series, an ISO 5210 adaptation kit is available for electric actuators, position indication ON/OFF, and optional limit switches. Also available are square cap for water networks and stem extension.

FAQ

Used for regulation?
No. It is an isolation valve, fully open or closed.

EPDM or NBR?
EPDM for water/HVAC. NBR in 20.901 when sewage compatibility is required.

What is checked in maintenance?
Stem sealing, seat cleanliness, and full opening/closing. In 20.900 up to DN300, stem O-rings are replaceable with the valve open and line under pressure.
