Genebre 2220 Gate Valve PN16

The Genebre 2220 is a threaded gate valve made from stainless steel casting 1.4408 / CF8M, designed for flow isolation in small diameters. It is suitable for fully open or fully closed positions and is not intended for flow regulation.

Construction Materials

The body, bonnet, and gate are made from stainless steel 1.4408 / CF8M. The stem and gland are made from AISI 316, with auxiliary components including stainless 304/316. Suitable for water, air, and neutral or mildly corrosive fluids, provided compatibility with CF8M and PTFE is confirmed.

Hydraulic Data

The Kv values are: 4.5 m³/h for 1/2", 20 for 3/4", 34 for 1", 60 for 1 1/4", 102 for 1 1/2", and 161 for 2". These values are used for pressure drop calculations in fully open positions, not for selection as a control valve.

Applications

Suitable for auxiliary water networks, compressed air, low/medium temperature process fluids, and stainless piping with threaded connections. Not recommended for lines with frequent throttling, solid particles, or actuator requirements.
