B-Safety PremiumLine BR 826 095 – Heated Eyewash/Facewash Wall-Mounted Unit

The BR 826 095 is a wall-mounted eyewash/facewash station with integrated bowl, lid, and anti-freeze heating, designed for installations in low ambient temperature environments. Intended for exposed piping and direct connection to potable water supply lines.

Construction and Operation

Housing, bowl, and lid are constructed from UV- and impact-resistant ABS. Activation is achieved by pulling the lid downward, which also shields the spray regulators from dust during standby. The 3/8” stainless steel ball valve is mechanically actuated by the lid.

Unit includes two chrome-plated brass spray regulators and an integrated 3/8” flow control valve for on-site adjustment of spray height and flow during commissioning.

Anti-Freeze Protection

Insulation is mineral wool per DIN 4102. Heating is provided by a self-regulating heating tape rated at 23 W/m. External thermostat disables heating at 14 °C and re-enables at 4 °C.

Standards and Area of Use

Compliant with EN 15154-2:2006, ANSI Z358.1-2014, DIN 1988, EN 1717, and BGI/GUV-I 850-0. Certified under DIN-DVGW NW-0417CL0263. Electrical configuration is suitable for EX Zones 1 & 2 with risk assessment for both electrical and non-electrical explosion protection.

Does it replace a full body safety shower?
No. This unit is for eyewash/facewash only. Full body exposure requires a separate safety shower.

Product description

The B-SAFETY eye-/face wash units with bowl and lid have been developed for use in industry. These eye showers are completely protected against contamination by the cover. The eye showers are activated by pulling down the cover. The size and design of the eye shower allows excellent localization even in emergency situations.

The eye shower is equipped with two jet regulators, which not only meet the requirements of DIN EN 15154-2:2006 and ANSI Z358.1-2014, but also ensure even water distribution. The limited, uniform and, above all, soft water jet is very suitable for rinsing out chemicals in the eye. Due to the limited water jet, the used water can be completely collected with this eye shower.

The correct jet height and desired flow rate are set on site via the integrated flow control valve. The eye shower is completely protected against dirt by the integrated hinged cover. This makes this shower the right solution for rough everyday industrial use. A sign for an eyewash device in accordance with DIN EN ISO 7010 with a viewing distance of 17 meters is attached to the cover.
