The RSV O is a mechanically actuated float valve constructed from brass, designed for level control in medium and large tanks. Operation is based on a float and lever mechanism, without the need for electrical signal, level sensor, or actuator. Level adjustment is achieved by repositioning the float along the lever arm.
RSV O is intended for potable water and neutral, non-viscous liquids. Not suitable for fluids containing suspended solids, sediments, or media prone to fouling the control mechanism. RSV O series is DVGW certified and suitable for potable water networks, subject to code and country-specific confirmation.
RSV O and RSV G share the same DN range, pressure class, and threaded connection. RSV G includes a dip tube connection, while RSV O is used where this is not required. For small DN, RSV G offers higher Kvs; for DN 65–80, RSV O achieves Kvs 47 m³/h versus 40 m³/h for RSV G.

Can it be serviced without removal?
Seal inspection and replacement can be performed without removing the valve from the line.
