The ADCA RVST is a vertical flash vessel designed for secondary steam recovery in systems where high-pressure condensate is discharged to a lower pressure. A portion of the condensate re-evaporates, and the resulting flash steam can be utilized in low-pressure steam consumers or heat exchangers. The primary distinction from the RV series is the integrated steam trap located at the vessel bottom.
Rated for PN16. For RVST/S: 16 bar at 50°C, 14 bar at 100°C, 13 bar at 195°C, and 12 bar at 250°C. Maximum working pressure with saturated steam is 13 bar. Minimum operating temperature -10°C. Designed in accordance with AD-Merkblatt.
Carbon steel version: P265GH / P235GH for shell and heads, P250GH for EN flanges, 8.8 grade steel fasteners. Stainless steel version: AISI 316 / 316L for wetted parts, A2-70 fasteners. The steam trap mechanism is stainless steel in both variants.
Install vertically, with horizontal condensate inlet and outlet. Selection requires condensate flow rate, inlet temperature/pressure, and required flash steam pressure. Do not select solely by pipe diameter; sizing depends on flash steam quantity, separation velocity, and the condensate removal capacity of the integrated steam trap.
Used in high-pressure condensate return lines and boiler blowdown heat recovery systems where flash steam separation and automatic condensate removal are required within a single assembly.
