Brandoni Ekoflux SVO – Threaded Manual Balancing Valve

The Brandoni Ekoflux SVO is a manually operated variable orifice balancing valve designed for hydronic heating and cooling circuits. It enables flow regulation in main branches or individual zones and supports differential pressure (Δp) measurement during commissioning and system verification.

Operation

FAQ

How does it differ from DPCV?
The SVO provides a fixed hydraulic resistance. It does not actively compensate for Δp fluctuations as a DPCV (Differential Pressure Control Valve) does.

When is it selected?
Used in small to medium branches where manual balancing, isolation, and flow verification are required. Suitable for water and glycol-based media within the specified pressure and temperature range.

Description

BRASS VARIABLE ORIFICE THREADED BALANCING VALVE

The valves in the series EKOFLUX SVO balance the flow in main circuits or single sections of heating or conditioning plants.

They allow correcting irregularities in the supply of the single users (irregularities which might cause noise and damage the components of the plant) and, as a result, improve environmental comfort and optimize energy consumption.

They perform shut-off and measuring functions.

The continuous presetting function allows controlling the loss of pressure and of the flow rate.

They can be installed indifferently on the supply piping and on the return piping.

Ekoflux SVO is a female/female threaded variable orifice balancing valve available in the dimension range of DN ½” – 2” .
