The ADCA POP-CT is not a condensate pump. It is a mechanical cycle counter for pressure-driven condensate pumps in open vented systems. It is mounted on the pump cover and is activated by pressure changes within the pump body. It is used for operation monitoring, condensate return estimation, and maintenance scheduling.

Construction Materials

Use in Condensate Systems

The cycle counter allows maintenance personnel to correlate the number of cycles with the displacement per cycle of the respective pump. This enables estimation of the condensate quantity returning to the network and identification of operational changes, such as more frequent cycles due to increased load or backpressure issues.

Does it measure flow directly?
No. It measures cycles. Flow is calculated from cycles and pump displacement volume.
