ARI-CONLIFT® Condensate Pump

The ARI-CONLIFT® is a mechanical positive displacement condensate pump, operating via a float mechanism. It requires no electrical power; pumping is achieved using steam, compressed air, or inert gas as the driving medium. It is used for transferring condensate from a lower level or pressure to a return network with higher pressure or elevation difference.

Materials and Versions

Available in high-temperature steel, stainless steel 1.4571, and spheroidal graphite iron EN-GJS-400-18-LT. Internal parts are stainless steel, with hardened stainless seats and stems, and Inconel X-750 springs. Gaskets are graphite-reinforced with CrNi.

Media and Applications

Suitable for Group 2 fluids with density 0.85–1.15 kg/dm³. Applied in steam networks, condensate collectors, heat exchangers, heating elements, condensate return lines, and installations where gravity or available differential pressure is insufficient.

Operation and Installation

Operation is cyclic: filling, pressurization by driving medium, condensate displacement, and venting. No external actuator required. Installation must be horizontal, with check valves at inlet and outlet, correct flow direction, and steam line drainage before the pump.

FAQ

When to choose a mechanical condensate pump?
When condensate needs to return to a higher pressure network or when available elevation difference is insufficient.

Can it operate without power?
Yes. Movement is achieved with steam, compressed air, or inert gas.

What should be checked in sizing?
Condensate flow, driving medium pressure, total backpressure, filling height, and return line losses.
