Sirca HT600 High-Temperature Butterfly Valve
The Sirca HT600 is a metal-seated damper butterfly valve for isolation and flow regulation of hot air and flue gases. It provides controlled leakage rather than bubble-tight shut-off, with leakage Class III according to EN 1349 and ASME B16.104.

- Maximum temperature: 600 °C
- Disc rotation: 90°
- Flow direction: bidirectional
- Flange compatibility: PN6, PN10, PN16 and ASME Class 150
- Face-to-face: EN 558 Series 16 up to DN500; Series 20 from DN600 to DN1000
- Actuator mounting: ISO 5211
Construction
Body options include carbon steel and AISI 304. Disc and stem materials include carbon steel, AISI 304 or AISI 316, depending on configuration. Graphite stem packing withstands elevated temperatures, while cooling rings reduce heat transfer toward the stuffing box and actuator.
Actuation Options
- Manual lever
- Worm gearbox
- Double-acting or spring-return pneumatic actuator
- Electric actuator
Actuator sizing should consider damper torque, gas velocity, deposits, operating temperature and the required fail position.
Applications
Typical services include industrial furnaces, blast furnaces, heating plants, high-temperature ventilation ducts, chemical plants, environmental systems and glass production. The HT600 is intended primarily for hot gases; it should not be selected where zero leakage or pressurised-liquid shut-off is required.
Compliance
The valve is manufactured under PED 2014/68/EU Article 4(3). ATEX versions are classified as Group II, Category 2 for gas Zones 1/2 and dust Zones 21/22. Permitted ATEX surface-temperature limits depend on the selected construction material.
