Sirca S30T Trunnion-Mounted Ball Valve
The Sirca S30T is a full-bore, trunnion-mounted ball valve for on/off isolation in high-pressure liquid and gas pipelines. The ball is mechanically supported by the stem and lower trunnion, while spring-loaded seats maintain contact with the ball. This arrangement reduces operating torque compared with floating-ball designs at large sizes and high differential pressures.

Construction and Sealing
The forged, split-and-bolted body is available in ASTM A350 LF2 carbon steel, ASTM A479 F316L stainless steel or carbon steel with stainless-steel trim. Standard seat inserts are Delrin, with Inconel X-750 springs, graphite secondary seals and AED-resistant elastomer O-rings.
The anti-blowout stem and antistatic device provide mechanical retention and electrical continuity. Bleed and drain connections support cavity depressurisation and maintenance operations.
Seat Configurations
Single Piston Effect: standard self-relieving seats discharge excessive body-cavity pressure back into the pipeline.
Double Piston Effect: optional seats provide sealing against pressure from both the pipeline and body cavity. An external pressure-relief device is required to prevent trapped cavity overpressure.
Actuation and Applications
Actuation options include manual gearbox, pneumatic, electric or hydraulic actuators. Typical services include natural-gas transmission, crude oil and refined products, petrochemical plants, compressor stations and high-pressure process lines.
Compliance
The S30T is designed for PED 2014/68/EU and ATEX 2014/34/EU applications. Fire-safe design is referenced to API 607, ISO 10497 and API 6FA.
