JIS 10K F3059 Cast Steel Straight-Flow Mud Box Valve
The F3059 is a flanged straight-flow mud box valve designed for marine discharge lines to the ship side. This version is cast steel, with JIS 10K flange connections and a straight / vertical pattern arrangement.

Operation
Installed on discharge lines terminating at the ship side. The disc allows outflow and restricts seawater ingress under external backpressure from wave action or submersion. Manual shut-off is used for positive isolation during maintenance or when required by class regulations.
Difference from F3059 JIS 5K
Functional principle is identical to the 5K version, but the 10K is selected when piping, flanges, and specification require a higher pressure class. Selection should consider flange class, media, temperature, and class society requirements, not just DN.

Maintenance
