Electromagnetic Valve 2/2 AWS Type 210

The AWS Type 210 is a direct-acting 2/2-way seat valve designed for opening/closing lines without requiring a minimum differential pressure. It is used in automation systems where on/off isolation of small flows is needed, with NC operation as the standard configuration.

Applications and Media

Suitable for clean media without solid particles, such as water, neutral fluids, compressed air, or neutral gases, provided chemical compatibility with body and elastomer is confirmed. Flow direction must follow the body arrow, and the valve is not intended for back pressure.

Selection Compared to Other Series

Type 210 is selected when immediate operation from 0 bar and small nominal diameter is required. For larger flows, servo-controlled or assisted AWS series are considered, taking into account available differential pressure, Kv, medium, temperature, and operating cycles.

Maintenance and Installation

The coil is preferably mounted on top. Before working, depressurization, cooling, flushing, and securing of the installation are required. Leaks are usually related to contaminants in the seat or sealing wear.
