Electromagnetic Diaphragm Valve 2/2 AWS Type 240 / 240FL
The AWS Type 240 is a 2/2-way electromagnetic diaphragm valve, pilot-operated. It is used for on/off isolation of lines with available differential pressure. A minimum Δp of 0.5 bar between inlet and outlet is required for proper operation, thus it is not recommended for gravity discharge or zero backpressure circuits.

NC / NO and 240 / 240FL
The series is available in NC and NO. In NO versions, allowable pressures are lower for certain sizes. The 240FL is selected when a flanged connection, larger diameter, or stainless steel body 1.4408 is required in the line.
Applications
Suitable for clean water, neutral fluids, compressed air, and compatible gases without solids. Typical uses: process water networks, auxiliary lines, pressurized tank filling, industrial skids, HVAC water, and high Kv air lines.
Options
Available coils: 230 V AC, 24 V DC, and special voltages, LED plug, manual override, bracket, oil/grease-free cleaning, silicone/LABS-free version, fully encapsulated coil IP67, and Ex coil II 2G Ex mb IIC T4 Gb / II 2D Ex mb tb IIIC T130°C Db.
