BLU ZAC GF Forged – Dual-Sided Flow Indicator

The BLU ZAC GF is a forged flow indicator designed for visual inspection of liquids or gases in small industrial pipelines. The body is a single-piece construction with a glass plate on each side, or optionally double glasses per side. It can be delivered without an internal indicator or with a flow indication element.

Indicator Versions

Available as Type X without internal indicator or with lug Type Y, ball Type Z, rotor Type W, pipe Type K, and check valve Type V. Selection is based on fluid transparency, flow rate, and need for simple visual confirmation or internal check element.

Application Scope

The GF is used in steam mains, tracing lines, turbine lines, marine applications, presses, and auxiliary process networks. Compared to the GC Cast, the forged series covers smaller diameters and applications requiring forged materials per ASTM.

Installation and Maintenance

Can operate in any position, preferably in horizontal lines. Isolation, venting, and hazardous residue checks are required before maintenance. Gaskets are replaced during disassembly, and glass is replaced if worn or cracked.

WELDED – FLOW INDICATOR

Sight glass indicators are pieces of equipment used to observe the flow of a fluid in a pipe.

Comprising a single flanged body, with two pieces of glass held in place by two flanges, the sight glass indicator may contain a floating or static flow indicator, which allows for instant, safe monitoring of flow inside the pipe.

On request, special versions for pressures and temperatures specified by the customer can be produced for use in a wide variety of industrial applications.
