NORIS Model 880-A-RK/RP – ANSI Flow Indicator with Spinner

The NORIS 880-A-RK/RP is a straight-through, dual-sided flow indicator featuring an internal spinner for visual monitoring of liquids and gases in horizontal or vertical pipelines. The flanged connection complies with ANSI 150 or 300 lbs, and flow direction must be observed during installation.

Materials and Sealing

The body is available in GG25 / EN-GJL-250, GS-C25 / 1.0619 / GP240GH, or stainless steel 1.4408. The GG25 version is limited to a maximum pressure of 16 bar. Glass options include borosilicate per DIN 7080 or soda-lime per DIN 8902. Standard sealing is graphite, with other materials available after fluid and temperature assessment.

Difference Between RK and RP

The primary difference lies in the spinner material.

• 880-A-RK: plastic spinner, up to 120 °C
• 880-A-RP: PTFE spinner, up to 260 °C

The RP version is selected for higher temperature resistance or improved chemical compatibility of the internal indicator.

Applications

Suitable for process water, condensate, gases, auxiliary circuits, and compatible chemical fluids. The spinner is beneficial when the fluid is clear or when simple observation through the glass is insufficient for safe flow confirmation.

Does it accept an actuator?
No. It is a passive flow indicator.

Are there certificates?
Optional certificates include EN 10204 type 2.2 or 3.1.
