Genebre 2223 Needle Valve – 3000 psi, Stainless Steel, ISO 228 F/F

Manual needle valve for throttling control of small flow rates in clean liquids or gases. Series 2223 features female threads ISO 228/1, stainless steel 316 body, AISI 316 bonnet, A182 F6 needle with nitrogen treatment, and PTFE + graphite stem packing.

Difference from 2221 and 2222

The 2223 is a stainless steel version with ISO 228/1 threading. The 2221 is similar with ISO 228 but features an ASTM A105 carbon steel body, while the 2222 pertains to NPT connection. Substitution between ISO 228 and NPT should not occur without checking piping standards and thread sealing.

Is it a control valve?
No. It is a manual needle valve. Automatic control requires sizing with Cv/Kv and an actuator.
