The ADCA MX20 is an industrial steam-water mixer designed for generating low-pressure hot water using existing saturated steam and cold water supplies. Mixing is achieved via the Venturi effect within the mixing chamber. Outlet temperature is regulated by adjusting the inlet steam and water valves.
Both water and steam enter through integrated non-return valves. Water flow actuates a piston, opening the steam valve. If water supply is interrupted, a spring closes the steam valve to prevent live steam discharge. Not suitable for shower water, hand washing, or any application involving direct human contact.
Water pressure must not exceed steam pressure. Steam pressure should be equal to or up to three times the water pressure. Pressure gauges on both lines, upstream line filters, and a steam trap before the steam valve are recommended to remove condensate and minimize water hammer risk.
Main components: CF8M / 1.4408, AISI 316 / 1.4401, AISI 304 / 1.4301. Seals: NBR, PTFE, Viton. Steam valve: stainless steel with graphite packing.
Available: stainless steel mounting bracket, spray gun, inlet valves, flexible hot water/steam hose, pipe hanger, and alternative live steam valve for sterilization tasks.
CE Marking: Product falls under PED SEP for water and steam Group 2; no CE marking is applied.
Maintenance Requirements: Clean line filters, inspect piston/steam seat, check for scale deposits, and verify safety mechanism before operation.
