Hafner 10 mm Air Manifolds

Hafner Series 10 mm manifolds are designed for group mounting of MMD microvalves in pneumatic control panels. The manifold configuration reduces individual supply and exhaust tubing, enabling shared air supply across multiple valve stations. This arrangement supports compact installations and standardized compressed air distribution.

Manifold Structure

The system consists of modular components:

• RM 5 304 L: left end module, port 1 G 3/8”, outlets 2/4 Ø4, exhausts 3/5 G 3/8”.
• RM 5 344: intermediate module for 1 valve position.
• RM 5 304 R: right end module, no valve position.
• BPM 5 304: blanking plate for closing unused manifold positions.

Technical Application

10 mm manifolds are suitable for installations with compact electropneumatic valves, where space constraints and standardized compressed air distribution are required. Typical uses include control circuits for small cylinders, pilot signals, ejectors, blow-off functions, and auxiliary machine commands. Compatible with filtered, dry compressed air per ISO 8573-1.

Selection Criteria

Selection is based on:

• number of valve positions,
• MMD valve type,
• available supply at port 1,
• tubing diameter to consumers,
• requirement for blanking plates for future expansion,
• maintenance access within the panel.

Maintenance and Leakage

Periodic inspection should verify sealing between valve and base, tightening of modular elements, Ø4 connections, exhaust ports 3/5, and monitor for pressure drop during simultaneous valve actuation. Stable operation requires filtered, dry compressed air upstream of the manifold. Observe manufacturer torque specifications and use compatible sealing materials.
