Tecfluid LP – Level Indicator, Switch, and Transmitter with Displacer

The Tecfluid LP series is designed for liquid level measurement in process tanks, providing local indication with optional limit switches or analog output. Unlike float-type surface switches, the LP operates with a displacer element suspended on a spring, based on Archimedes’ principle. Changes in liquid level alter the apparent weight of the displacer, and movement is transmitted to the indicator via magnetic coupling.

• Liquid density: 0.6–2 kg/l
• Operating pressure: PN40 standard; other ratings available on request
• Process temperature: -60 to +150 °C standard, up to -120 to +400 °C with thermal spacer
• Installation: vertical from tank top or side-mounted with external chamber 80ME

Connections and Materials

Standard models: LP80 (flanged) and LP81 (threaded). Connections available: EN 1092-1 DN40 PN40, BSP, 1½” NPT, ASME B16.5, or JIS on request. Wetted parts: EN 1.4404 / AISI 316L, Hastelloy C, Titanium; displacer also available in PVC, PP, or PVDF for chemical compatibility.

• AMD: 1 or 2 NAMUR inductive sensors (EN 60947-5-6)
