Globe valve with extended bonnet for cryogenic lines, ensuring the packing remains thermally isolated from low-temperature zones. Features include bolted bonnet, outside screw & yoke, rising stem, rising handwheel, and swivel plug disc.
Design based on BS 1873, ASME B16.34, and API 623. Face-to-face dimensions per ASME B16.10, flanges per ASME B16.5, BW ends per ASME B16.25, and testing per API 598 / EN 12266. CE-PED marking and EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2 certificates available.
Suitable for isolation in LNG, LIN, LOX, LAR networks, technical gases, cold boxes, and insulated piping. Selection based on pressure class, medium, operating temperature, CF8/CF8M material, RF/RTJ/BW end type, and allowable differential pressure.
Available with gear operator, chain wheel, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electric actuator, limit switches, locking/interlock, live loaded packing, lantern ring, drain plug, and bypass. For throttling, consider parabolic disc; for special disc sealing, PTFE insert option is available.
For pressure below the disc, technical documentation provides Δp limits from 85 bar at 3" to 4 bar at 16". Above these, a gear operator or installation with pressure above the disc and bypass is required.
To reduce thermal load on the packing and minimize the risk of freezing around the gland.
Primarily used for isolation. Control function considered only with suitable disc, Δp control, and flow velocity management.
