Gefran 1550 Controller – Programmer

The Gefran 1550 is a single-loop PID controller, 48×96 mm (1/8 DIN), 80 mm depth, designed for local temperature or process control in panel door installations. The front panel features an LCD display for PV/SV, an F display for parameter access and diagnostics, a bargraph for power/current/valve position, and a removable front for front-side maintenance.

Process Inputs

Primary input supports thermocouples J, K, R, S, T, C, D, RTD Pt100/JPT100, infrared sensors, and linear signals (0–60 mV, 0–1 V, 0–5 V, 0–10 V, 0/4–20 mA). Sampling time is selectable at 60 or 120 ms, with a range of -1999 to 9999 and adjustable digital filtering. Additional inputs include remote setpoint (0–1 V, 0–10 V, 0/4–20 mA) and CT input x/50 mAac for load monitoring.

Outputs and Control

Output options: relay (up to 4 NO contacts, 5 A / 250 Vac), logic 24 V for SSR, triac (75–264 Vac / 1 A), continuous 4–20 mA, or analog retransmission (0–10 V, 0–20 mA, 4–20 mA). Supports PID, ON/OFF, heat, cool, heat/cool, and open/close control for floating motorized valves via relay, SSR, or triac.

Programming and Diagnostics

Setpoint programmer supports up to 4 programs and 12 steps, with setpoint, ramp time, and hold time per step. Up to 4 consents, 4 events, 4 selectable setpoints, 16 logic function blocks, and timer functions are available. Diagnostics include LBA, HB, SSR alarm, and energy counter with calculation from nominal power or current via CT.
