ARI STEVI Pro 470/471 – Control Valve

The ARI STEVI Pro 470/471 is a linear control valve designed for industrial supply circuits, pressure, or temperature control. It features a threaded seat ring, guided plug, and blowout-proof stem. Available in sizes DN15–DN150, pressure classes PN16–PN40, with bodies made from EN-JS1049, 1.0619+N, or 1.4581, and options for flanged or butt weld connections.

Variants 470 and 471

• STEVI 470: Features PTFE V-ring, EPDM, PTFE packing, or graphite stem sealing. Selection depends on temperature, medium, and maintenance requirements.
• STEVI 471: Equipped with a stainless steel bellows, suitable for minimizing external leakage at the stem or operation up to 450°C with graphite gasket.

Media and Applications

Suitable for steam, water, hot water, gases, and industrial fluids, subject to material compatibility checks. Special material selection or protection is required for corrosive, abrasive, or external environments.

Plug, Flow Characteristics, and Leakage

Available with parabolic plug, V-port, perforated plug for steam/gases, hardened sealing edge, and pressure-balanced versions. Flow characteristics include equal percentage or linear, with rangeability of 50:1 or 30:1 depending on plug type. Seat tightness complies with DIN EN 60534-4 class IV, IV-S1, or VI with PTFE soft seal up to 200°C.

Automation

Compatible with pneumatic ARI-DP 32–35 actuators, max air pressure 6 bar, or electric ARI-PREMIO / PREMIO-Plus 2G 2.2–25 kN, IP65. Also available with AUMA SAR 07.2–14.6, IP67, featuring torque/travel switches and explosion-proof versions.

Maintenance

In packing versions, leakage checks and gradual tightening are required. In bellows versions, stem leakage indicates bellows failure, necessitating replacement of the stem/bellows assembly as a unit.
