Flanged Butterfly Valve TTV HYDOR

The TTV HYDOR is a double flanged double eccentric butterfly valve designed for applications requiring flanged connections, increased pressure ratings, and reduced disc-seat friction compared to concentric butterfly valves. The double eccentricity moves the disc away from the seat during opening, minimizing wear on the sealing ring.

Materials and Sealing

Body and disc available in ductile iron GJS500-7 / GJS400, carbon steel A216 WCB, stainless steel CF8M, aluminum bronze, and duplex/super-duplex. Shaft options include AISI 420, AISI 316, 17-4PH, or duplex/super-duplex.

Seats / sealing rings:

  • EPDM: -20 to +110 °C, water, seawater, air, cooling, mild acids.
  • Nitrile / NBR: -10 to +90 °C, hydrocarbons, oils, compressed air.
  • Viton: -5 to +180 °C, hot acids, solvents, high-temperature gases.

Operational Use

The HYDOR is suitable for water, seawater, hot water, compressed air, cooling, chemicals, solvents, hydrocarbons, and gases, with final selection based on materials, temperature, pressure, and media compatibility. Available with lever, gearbox, pneumatic, electric, or hydraulic actuator.

FAQ

When to choose over concentric butterfly valve?
For larger DN, higher pressures, or when reduced friction between disc and seat is required.

Is it suitable for throttling?
Can be used for throttling. Continuous control requires Kv, cavitation, ΔP, torque, and operating angle assessment.
