Hafner Futura Line FS Filter-Regulators
The Hafner KFRG Futura line FS units are compressed air preparation assemblies integrating a filter and pressure regulator in a single housing, without lubricator. These are installed upstream of pneumatic valves, manifolds, cylinders, and instrumentation where stable supply pressure and particulate retention from the air network are required.

Drain Selection: HA vs AM
The HA version is specified where regular manual inspection and draining of the bowl by maintenance personnel is feasible. The AM version is used in continuous operation lines or locations where condensate must be removed automatically without manual intervention.
Selection Criteria
Selection is based on required flow rate, allowable pressure drop, port thread size, downstream pressure, and 5 μm filtration requirement. For panels with multiple electropneumatic valves, sizing must consider total instantaneous air consumption, not just average demand.
Maintenance
Routine checks include filter element condition, drain operation, output pressure stability, thread leakage, and water accumulation in the bowl.
