Hafner Classic-line A Filter and Lubricator Bowls
The FBA, FBS, and LBM bowls are replacement components for Hafner Classic-line A air preparation units. They are used in filters and lubricators when chamber replacement is required due to wear, cracking, chemical attack, drain failure, or mechanical stress within the FRL assembly.
Filter Bowl Variants
- FBA-2 / FBA-3: Filter bowls with automatic drain, polycarbonate with protective cover, for sizes A-2 and A-3.
- FBS-1 / FBS-2 / FBS-3: Filter bowls with semi-automatic drain, polycarbonate with protective cover, for sizes A-1, A-2, and A-3.
- FBS-0: Mini filter bowl with semi-automatic drain, polycarbonate, for size A-0.
Lubricator Bowl Variants
- LBM-1 / LBM-2 / LBM-3: Lubricator bowls, polycarbonate with protective cover, for sizes A-1 to A-3.
- LBM-0: Mini lubricator bowl, polycarbonate, for size A-0.
Selection Criteria
Selection is based on unit size A-0, A-1, A-2, or A-3, application (filter or lubricator), and drain type. For filters with frequent condensate accumulation, automatic drain is preferred. Semi-automatic drain requires periodic maintenance inspection.
Maintenance
During service, inspect for cracks in polycarbonate, hazing from oils or chemicals, O-ring integrity, drain operation, secure mounting to filter body, and lubricant level. If vibration or lateral load from piping is present, verify mechanical support of the FRL assembly.
