Zubi T113AR – Tilting Disc Check Valve

The Zubi T113AR is a wafer-type tilting disc check valve designed for industrial pipelines where reduced installation length and low pressure drop are required. The disc rotates on an offset shaft and closes automatically when flow decreases or reverses. No actuator is used.

Construction Materials

Standard stainless steel version: body and disc in CF8M / AISI 316, shafts and rod in AISI 316L, spring in AISI 302. Options include Duplex SAF2205, Superduplex SAF2507, and 254SMO for corrosive media or seawater, subject to chloride and temperature assessment.

Applications

Suitable for water, seawater (with appropriate materials), wastewater treatment, pulp and paper, food and beverage, and auxiliary industrial networks. Metal seat is not recommended where zero leakage is required.

Options

Available with auxiliary spring, counterweight, manual lever, position switches, and locking devices. Counterweight is used for controlled opening and faster closure under transient flow conditions.

FAQ

Can it be installed horizontally or vertically? Both orientations are possible, following flow direction.
When is sizing verification required? For low flow rates, large diameters, or pump stations, to prevent unstable disc operation.
