Globe Valve Angle Bronze with non return plug JIS 5K - F7352
Angle SDNR Globe Valve JIS 5K F7352
Bronze angle globe valve, SDNR – screw-down non-return type, designed for marine piping systems requiring both shut-off and non-return (check) functionality in a single valve. Classified as angle pattern, flanged, JIS 5K, type F7352.
Operation
The valve changes flow direction by 90°. The rising stem mechanically seats the disc for shut-off; when open, the disc acts as a non-return element. Used where piping requires both manual shut-off and prevention of reverse flow in limited space.
Technical Data
- Type: angle globe valve, SDNR
- Connection: flanged JIS 5K
- Standards: body to JIS F7400, flanges to JIS B2220
- Sizes: DN15–DN65
- Materials: body/disc bronze BC6, stem brass C3771BD
- Bonnet: screwed for 15A–40A, bolted for 50A–65A
- Test pressures: body hydrostatic 12 kg/cm², seat test 8 kg/cm² (for 5K)
Media and Operating Conditions
Suitable for water, seawater, steam, air, inert gases, and oil. Indicative operating limit: up to 7 bar (application dependent), temperature up to 205°C.
Selection vs F7351
F7352 is selected where 90° flow change is required. F7351 is straight pattern. Both are SDNR; F7352’s angle design reduces the need for additional elbows in confined machinery spaces.
Typical Applications
- Seawater cooling lines
- Bilge, ballast, and service water systems
- Auxiliary low-pressure steam circuits
- Oil or neutral liquid lines
- Marine installations with JIS flanges
Maintenance
Inspect seat/disc for wear or deposits, adjust stem packing, and verify free movement of the non-return disc. For seawater, periodic dezincification and corrosion checks are required.
FAQ
Can it be actuated?
Standard version is manual with handwheel. Automation requires torque, stem travel, and mounting assessment.
Is it a control valve?
Not for precise control duty. Primarily used for isolation and non-return functions.
