Tubular Flow Indicator NORIS Bauform 25

The NORIS 025 is a tubular flow indicator featuring a Safety Seal-System sealing mechanism compliant with DIN 28121. It is installed in horizontal or vertical pipelines for visual monitoring of liquids and gases, without measurement instruments or electrical power.

Operating Conditions

• Connection: DIN flanges PN10 / PN16
• Sizes: DN25–DN150
• Operating Pressure: up to 6 bar for DN100, up to 4 bar for DN125 and above
• Temperature: up to 200 °C
• Installation: horizontal or vertical

Difference from Type 020

Type 025 employs the Safety Seal-System and covers a specific range of diameters DN25–DN150. The PTFE-covered gasket sealing differentiates it from simpler tubular versions, especially in applications where chemical compatibility of the gasket is a critical selection criterion.

• low-pressure condensate
• neutral or compatible chemical liquids
• low-pressure gases
• filling, discharge, and flow monitoring lines

Selection should be confirmed based on pressure, temperature, PTFE/glass chemical compatibility, and mechanical pipeline stresses.

Installation and Maintenance

Installation must be free of pipeline stresses, vibrations, and sudden pressure surges. In exposed areas or maintenance zones, a protective acrylic casing is considered.

No. It is a passive visual observation indicator.

No. It provides a visual flow indication, not a quantitative measurement.
