Tubular Flow Indicator NORIS Bauform 25-A

The NORIS 025-A is a tubular flow indicator equipped with ANSI 150 lbs flanges and a Safety Seal-System according to DIN 28121. It is designed for visual monitoring of liquids and gases in horizontal or vertical pipelines, without requiring electrical power or control signals.

Construction Materials

Flanges are available in WN 1.4571 or H II steel. Spacers are specified in WN 1.4571 or steel. The 1.4571 version is selected when fluid compatibility, installation environment, or cleanliness requirements favor stainless steel construction.

The ANSI 150 lbs nominal class pertains to the flanged connection. The permissible pressure of the assembly is limited by the glass tube and size.

Difference Between 025-A and 025

The 025-A version is the ANSI variant of type 025. It retains the tubular construction with Safety Seal-System but uses ANSI 150 lbs flanges instead of DIN PN10/PN16.

Installation and Maintenance

Installation should be free from mechanical stresses from the piping, vibrations, and pressure surges. Special versions with protective acrylic casing or extended construction length are available.

No. It is a passive visual observation indicator.
