Tubular Flow Indicator NORIS Bauform 20

The NORIS 020 is a tubular flow indicator with flanged connection, designed for visual monitoring of liquids and gases in horizontal or vertical pipelines. It serves as a local monitoring point for flow, filling, bubbles, drainage, or fluid presence in process networks.

• Diameter range: DN15–DN200
• Max pressure: 6 bar up to DN100, 4 bar from DN125 and above
• Max temperature: 200 °C

Materials and Sealing

Body/flanges available in 1.0425 or 1.4571, based on fluid compatibility and installation environment. Observation tube is borosilicate glass. Gaskets are Viton, with PTFE or other materials available for different chemical resistance. Bolts specified as A4-70.

Application Selection

Chosen when direct visual indication is needed without measuring instruments or electrical supply. Nominal class PN10/PN16 refers to flanged connection; actual operating pressure is limited by glass tube and diameter.

Does it accept an actuator?
No. It is a passive visual monitoring indicator.

Is it suitable for steam?
Only if pressure, temperature, and suitability of glass tube/gaskets for the specific line are confirmed.
