B-Safety BR 028 995 Safety Shower Valve
The BR 028 995 is a recessed, wall-mounted safety shower valve housed in a stainless steel cabinet with a removable cover for maintenance access. The assembly includes a ¾” stainless steel ball valve, lever operation, and integrated drain, allowing the downstream section to the shower head to be emptied after use or periodic testing. This design supports compliance with self-draining requirements in safety shower installations.

Construction and Materials
The cabinet is recessed with a removable cover. Manufacturer documentation lists dimensions as 400 × 300 mm (cabinet) and 350 × 251 × 62 mm (installation). Product page lists 400 × 270 mm and 350 × 220 × 60 mm. For technical submissions, confirm with manufacturer drawings.
Cover plate: AISI 304. Ball valve, threaded connections, tee, connection fitting, and lever: AISI 316. Drain valve and base: brass/plastic.
Applications
Used in emergency shower systems for chemical plants, laboratories, chemical loading areas, and safety water networks where recessed installation and periodic valve access are required for inspection and maintenance.

Complies with DIN EN 15154-1:2006, DIN EN 15154-5:2019, ANSI Z358.1-2014, DIN 1988, DIN EN 1717, BGI/GUV-I 850-0, and GOST-R. DIN EN 15154-1 requires self-draining between valve and shower head.
Difference from BR 027 995
BR 028 995 features a larger stainless steel cabinet with removable cover and two stainless steel union connections for easier on-site installation. Selected when recessed mounting and increased internal access are required.
