WEY Hand Stop Gate – Type 5.0

The WEY Hand Stop Gate 5.0 is a removable gate for temporary isolation during inspection, cleaning or maintenance. It is installed at channel, chamber and basin openings and is inserted or removed manually using a dedicated handle. The gate provides bidirectional shut-off.

The gate plate is reinforced according to the specified water pressure. The frame uses a rounded bottom profile and must be installed without distortion. Frame alignment, wall flatness and guide parallelism must be checked before final grouting or anchor tightening.

Operation and Installation

No permanently mounted actuator is provided. The gate is operated directly with a removable handle. Installation and embedding must be completed with the gate in the closed position, while sealing surfaces must remain free from concrete and debris.

FAQ

Is the Hand Stop intended for level control?
No. It is used primarily for temporary full isolation during maintenance or inspection.

What maintenance is required?
Guides and sealing surfaces must remain clean. Elastomer seals require periodic lubrication, and at least four operating cycles should be performed annually.
