B-Safety ClassicLine BR 713 020 – 45° Handheld Eye Wash Unit

The BR 713 020 is a bench-mounted handheld eye wash designed for laboratory workstations, dosing stations, and chemical processing points. It features a single spray nozzle set at a 45° angle, allowing the operator to direct the flow without leaning over the hazard zone. This configuration supports ergonomic operation in confined or restricted-access environments.

Materials and Operation

Wet parts are manufactured from DZR brass CW724R. The spray head and flow regulator are POM. The handle incorporates a non-self-closing valve to maintain flow without continuous manual actuation. The integrated flow regulator ensures a controlled spray pattern within the specified pressure range.

When is the 45° version selected?
For applications requiring directed rinsing from a bench or where front access is limited.

Does it replace a full safety shower?
No. It is intended for local eye wash only. Full body exposure requires separate risk assessment and equipment.

Product description

The hand-held eye shower is equipped with the B-SAFETY high-performance spray head, which not only meets the requirements of EN 15154-2:2006 and ANSI Z358.1-2014, but also ensure that the water is distributed over a large area. This also takes care of the regions around the eyes and eyes can be positioned in the water jet without problems. The restricted, even and, most important of all, soft water jet has been optimized for rinsing chemicals out of the eye.

With the enclosed table mounting accessory, the hand-held eye shower can be mounted on the table. The robust stainless steel-coated hose in 1.5 meter length ensures good usability of the shower. The correct spray height and a standard-compliant spray pattern are achieved by the integrated flow regulator, regardless of the water pressure applied. The backflow preventer built into the handle of the shower provides additional protection of the drinking water network.
