Description

Flow control valve with minimum-maximum level control

The CSA Model XLC 334/434 is a globe pattern hydraulically operated automatic control valve that controls the minimum and maximum level of a tank limiting and, at the same time the maximum flow to a requested set point, regardless of pressure variations.

Product features

• Body and cover in ductile cast iron GJS 450-10.

• Internals in ductile cast iron GJS 450-10 and stainless steel.

• Position indicator in stainless steel.

• Circuitry in stainless steel.

• Unit flow regulator device, needle valves and flow stabilizers in stainless steel.

• Seat in stainless steel.

• Painting with fluidized bed technology RAL 5005.

Applications

• Avoiding excessive flow during the valve’s opening phase of water tank level regulation within minimum and maximum values.

Standard and connections

• Design and testing according to EN 1074.

• Flanges size from DN 50 to DN 400 mm, higher on request.

Working conditions

• Pressure range: 10-16-25 bar.

• Minimum working pressure: 1.2 bar acting on the pilot.

All our valves are made of ductile cast iron GJS 450-10 and in absolute compliance with Italian and European standards and are designed to work at a pressure of 25-40 bars. The work is carried out only by means of numerically controlled lathes, mills, horizontal machining units and subsequently examined step-by-step following strict procedures. Internal components of our valves are largely made of stainless steel or other high resistant materials for the maximum prevention of cavitation effects and corrosion.

Painting, pre-treated by sand-blasting grade SA 2,5, is carried out inside a fluidized bed containing epoxy powder, which guarantees maximum surface protection.

All our products are tested under water pressure and certified.
