AWS 932 DN15–DN100 – Wafer Spring-Loaded Disc Check Valve
The AWS 932 is a wafer-type check valve designed for installation between flanges. It features a guided disc and return spring. Operation is automatic: the disc opens when flow force exceeds the closing force and closes upon reverse flow or pump shutdown. No actuator is used.

Materials
Available in 1.4408 / A351 CF8M, 1.0619 / A216 WCB galvanized, 1.4469 superduplex, and C958 / CC333G aluminium bronze. Superduplex and aluminium bronze are considered for seawater, desalination, or corrosive services, subject to chloride, temperature, and velocity assessment.
Seats and Tightness
Metallic seat and soft sealing options: NBR, EPDM, FKM, PTFE. Indicative temperature limits: NBR up to +100°C, EPDM up to +150°C, FKM up to +230°C, PTFE up to +250°C. Minimum backpressure of 0.3 bar required for stated leakage class.
Applications
Suitable for clean liquids and gases without solids in industrial piping, utilities, HVAC, process water, air, seawater, and desalination, depending on material selection. Not intended for media with suspended solids.
Installation
Requires clean piping, correct centering between flanges, and straight pipe sections 5×DN upstream and downstream. Do not install directly on pump flanges. Springless version permitted only for vertical upward flow.
