Hafner NAMUR Mounting Accessories
Hafner NAMUR assembly accessories are used for mechanical adaptation of NAMUR valves to pneumatic rotary actuators or for converting the valve to an in-line configuration. Selection is based on connection geometry, port diameter, and compatibility with NAMUR 1/4” or NAMUR 1/2” interfaces. These accessories are relevant for process automation, chemical, and general industrial applications where modular valve-actuator integration is required.
Adaptor Plates ZVP
ZVP plates feature a NAMUR interface and banjo connections. They are used in cylinder-valve assemblies where adaptation between valve port and actuator is necessary. Materials and sealing options are selected based on media compatibility and pressure class.
- ZVP 701: G 1/4”, DN 7, NAMUR 1/4”
- ZVP 101: G 3/8”, DN 10, NAMUR 1/4”
- ZVP 121: G 1/2”, DN 12, NAMUR 1/2”
- ZVP 121-701: G 1/2” to banjo G 1/4”, DN 7, NAMUR 1/4”
Connection and Spacer Plates
GPN 1/4 converts a NAMUR 1/4” interface to two G 1/4” ports, useful when the valve must be piped externally rather than mounted directly to the actuator. ZPN are intermediate spacer plates (5 or 8 mm, aluminium or PA) for applications requiring additional clearance, such as larger coils on compact NAMUR valves.
Rotation and In-line Conversion
ZPN 701 90 allows rotation of the NAMUR valve by 90° on the actuator, used when the coil, connector, or exhaust is obstructed by piping or mechanical components. FPNW 22-1/4 converts a NAMUR 1/4” valve to an in-line configuration for remote mounting.
Selection Criteria
Consider:
- NAMUR 1/4” or NAMUR 1/2” interface standard
- Port size: G 1/4”, G 3/8”, or G 1/2”
- Available space around coil and connector
- Need for valve rotation
- Direct NAMUR or in-line piping configuration
- O-ring and mounting screw compatibility
Maintenance
During service, inspect NAMUR O-rings, mating surfaces, tightening torque, air leakage, and alignment of ports. Incorrect plate selection or orientation can restrict flow or cause actuator malfunction. Accessories should be selected based on process media, temperature range, and required certifications (e.g., ATEX, SIL) for the application.
