Hafner Futura line FS Connectors and Fastening Components

The Futura line FS accessories are designed for mechanical assembly of Hafner air preparation units, including filters, pressure regulators, filter-regulators, and lubricators. Proper selection of these components affects panel mounting integrity, unit alignment, and sealing between FRL elements.

• C.00-34: Locking nut for pressure regulator, size FS-0.
• SM.1 / SM.2: Locking nuts for pressure regulators, sizes FS-1 and FS-2.
• KBW.0-1225 to KBW.4-1225: Mounting brackets for Futura line, sizes FS-0, FS-1, FS-2, FS-4.
• KBW.0-1227 to KBW.2-1227: Mounting brackets for pressure regulators, sizes FS-0 to FS-2.
• KKOP.0 to KKOP.4: Coupling kits for connecting Futura line units in series.
• KKOP.0W to KKOP.4W: Coupling kits for wall assembly, sizes FS-0, FS-1, FS-2, FS-4.

Function in FRL Assemblies

Coupling kits enable direct connection of sequential units, allowing air flow through filter, regulator, and lubricator without intermediate piping. Mounting brackets provide mechanical support to panels or walls, reducing mechanical stress on threaded connections.

Selection Criteria

Component selection is based on:

• Unit size: FS-0, FS-1, FS-2, FS-4
• Application: direct coupling or wall assembly
• Component type: locking nut, bracket, or coupling kit
• FRL assembly weight and length
• Maintenance access for filter, drain, and regulator

Installation and Maintenance

During assembly, verify clean contact surfaces, correct O-ring placement, uniform tightening, and alignment of units. Maintenance should include inspection for loosening due to vibration, mechanical stress from piping, and signs of leakage between units.
