Hafner Locking Mechanism for Futura line FS Pressure Regulators

The VH locking mechanism is designed for Hafner Futura line FS pressure regulators to provide mechanical securing of the setpoint after commissioning. Its use prevents unintended downstream pressure adjustments by operators or during panel maintenance, supporting process stability and safety requirements.

Available Versions

• VH.31: Lock for pressure regulator, without key.
• VH.32: Lock for pressure regulator, with key.

Function in Pneumatic Circuits

In pneumatic systems, changes in regulated output pressure affect actuator force, cylinder speed, pilot signal stability, and valve switching times. Locking the regulator is recommended when pressure is set according to machine testing, process specifications, or safety requirements.
