NORIS Bauform 920 – Dual-Sided Angular Flow Indicator
The NORIS 920 is an angular flow indicator designed for visual monitoring of liquids and gases in pipelines. It is utilized when the pipeline changes direction and simultaneous local observation of flow, filling, bubbles, or fluid color change is required. It is a passive component and does not function as a flow meter.

Materials and Sealing
Available in steel or stainless steel construction. Covers are S235JRG2 / GS-C25 or WN 1.4408. Bolts are galvanized 4.6 / 5.6 or A4-70. Observation glasses are borosilicate according to DIN 7080 or soda-lime according to DIN 8902. Standard sealing is graphite, with other materials available depending on fluid and temperature.
Construction Options
ANSI flanges, butt weld ends, extended length, different DN on both connections, observation lighting, and special sealing system according to DIN 28121 are available. Optional certificates include EN 10204 type 2.2 or 3.1.
Applications
Suitable for process water, condensate, gases, auxiliary circuits, and compatible chemical fluids. Selection should be based on pressure, temperature, body/gasket compatibility, and need for angular connection.
FAQ
When is the 920 chosen over a straight indicator?
When the pipeline requires an angular arrangement rather than a straight installation.
Does it accept an actuator?
No. Available options pertain to visual observation, connection, and sealing.
