NORIS Model 881-RK/RP – Threaded Flow Indicator with Spinner

The NORIS 881-RK/RP is a dual-sided flow indicator featuring BSP G or NPT threaded connections and an internal spinner. It is utilized for local visual monitoring of liquids and gases in horizontal or vertical lines, with mandatory adherence to flow direction.

Difference Between 881-RK and 881-RP

The difference lies in the spinner material:

• 881-RK: Plastic spinner, up to 120 °C
• 881-RP: PTFE spinner, up to 260 °C

The RP version is selected when temperature or chemical compatibility of the internal rotating element is a critical factor.

Material and Connection Selection

Cast iron GG25 is limited to 16 bar. For NPT connections, the technical sheet specifies only GS-C25 or 1.4408, a key factor in projects with American piping standards.

Applications

Suitable for auxiliary lines, process water, condensate, gases, and compatible chemical fluids. The spinner aids in clear fluids where simple observation through the glass does not provide sufficient flow indication.

Does it accept an actuator?
No. It is a passive flow indicator. The available electrical option is for observation lighting.
