Miyawaki REAH20-M Direct-Acting Pressure Reducing Valve for Liquids and Gases
The Miyawaki REAH20-M is a self-operated pressure reducing valve suitable for both compressible and incompressible media, including air, technical gases, water, and oil. The downstream pressure is internally sensed within the control chamber, directly adjusting the valve opening without external energy or impulse lines.

Downstream Pressure Settings
Standard secondary pressure ranges are 0.05–0.1 / 0.1–0.16 / 0.16–0.25 / 0.25–0.4 / 0.4–0.63 / 0.63–1.0 / 1.0–1.6 MPa. Pressures below 0.05 MPa or above 1.6 MPa require technical evaluation for spring selection and sizing.
Construction and Operation
The valve is piston-operated, featuring O-ring sealing and no diaphragm. The conical disc rotates freely at 360°, minimizing unilateral seat wear. Additional gauges, special connections, and soft sealing for leakage class VI are available.
Applications
Applicable in compressed air lines, technical gases, lube-oil lines, pre-heater units, natural gas, LNG, and gasoline tank systems, provided material and sealing compatibility with the fluid is confirmed.
Selection Criteria
Sizing requires p1, p2, flow rate, medium, temperature, DN, Kvs, flange PN, required leakage class, and reduction ratio. For ratios above 25:1, consider two-stage pressure reduction.
