Hafner 3/2 Air Valves for Panel Mounting

The Hafner BA / BH / BHP 3/2 series consists of manually operated valves designed for front panel or machine control mounting. These valves are used for pneumatic signal transmission, reset, start/stop commands, local supply or venting of circuits, and actuation of single-acting cylinders. The 3/2 function enables supply to the output port and exhaust of the actuator when the valve returns to its rest position.

Available Versions

• BA 311: Push-button valves with spring return, NC/NO or NC operation, connections M5, G 1/8”, or tube Ø4. Flow rate 125–280 l/min, pressure range -0.9…10 bar or 0…10 bar. Actuation force 14 N.
• BH 311 / BH 320: Manual panel valves, spring return or two-position. Connections G 1/8” and G 1/4”. Flow rate 450–1250 l/min. Operating force 11–18 N.
• BHP 320: Two-position, tube connection Ø4 or Ø6. Flow rate 300 l/min, pressure 1…16 bar.

Selection Logic

Selection is based on NC/NO function, port orientation, required flow, thread or push-in size, and mechanical actuation feel. Spring return versions are used for momentary commands. Two-position versions are selected when mechanical latching is required.

Applications

Suitable for pneumatic panels, operator consoles, manual PLC-free circuit commands, actuator testing, packaging machinery, and maintenance stations. Compatible with filtered, lubricated or non-lubricated compressed air. Not suitable for aggressive or corrosive gases.

Maintenance

Check for leakage at exhaust, air cleanliness, spring return integrity, panel sealing, and correct port marking. For vacuum applications, verify that the selected model supports negative pressure. Periodic inspection is recommended according to ISO 4414.
