Flow Switch / Flow Indicator Tecfluid AD

The Tecfluid AD series is designed for flow monitoring of liquids and gases. It utilizes a mechanical return disk with magnetic coupling to the indicator, reed switches, or transmitter. The detection system is isolated from the process medium, which is critical in applications requiring a sealed separation between mechanical components and electrical outputs.

Outputs and Configuration

The AD15 variant functions as a flow switch with 1 or 2 adjustable reed switches. The ADI15 adds local flow indication and can be equipped with reed switches, NAMUR EN 60947-5-6 inductive sensors, or a TH6 / TH6H 4–20 mA transmitter (HART available on TH6H). MODBUS RTU RS485 converter is also available.

Installation and Maintenance

Selection should consider flow direction: vertical up, vertical down, or horizontal (left/right). Electrical installation requires protection of reed contacts from overload and proper cable gland sealing. The AD series requires minimal periodic maintenance; checks are limited to zero indication, mechanical freedom of the indicator, and electrical verification of setpoints.
