Series 200 DRVs regulate the back pressure very sensitively; they have a high setting accuracy and particularly good response characteristics due to the low friction of the few moving internal parts. They are preferably used for pressure reduction of compressed air, nitrogen and other neutral, non-flammable gases. If only small flow rates are required, they can also be used for water and other neutral, non-adhesive liquids. Valve seats and body are made of corrosion-resistant red-bronze, the spring covers are made of brass (up to DN25) or cast iron (from DN32). SBR, NBR and CR are used as sealing materials. The low-pressure version DRV 250 has a particularly large control diaphragm, the high-pressure versions DRV 225/235 and DRV 226 have a robust control piston made of brass instead of a diaphragm. All DRVs of this series are supplied with female thread connections according to DIN ISO 228, most pressure ranges also with flange connections and in DIN overall length (DRV 230/235).
Pressure reducing valves of the series are diaphragm-controlled, spring-loaded pressure reducing valves. The series has a high setting accuracy and good response behavior due to the low friction of the few moving internal parts.
