Endplates and Coupling Kits Hafner Classic-line Type A

The BW, VL, VP, and VU accessories of the Classic-line Type A series are designed for mechanical assembly and secure mounting of Hafner air preparation units. Applicable to filters, pressure regulators, filter-regulators, and lubricators in sizes A-0 to A-3.

Available Components

• BW-0 / BW-1 / BW-2 / BW-3: Mounting brackets for Classic-line pressure regulators, matched to unit sizes A-0, A-1, A-2, A-3.
• VL: Pair of endplates for inlet/outlet connection in Classic-line assemblies. Thread sizes available: G 1/8”, G 1/4”, G 3/8”, G 1/2”, G 3/4”, G 1”, for A-1 to A-3 units.
• VP-0 / VP-1 / VP-2 / VP-3: Coupling kits for connecting individual units within the same series.
• VU: Endplates with integrated coupling, for assemblies requiring both termination and mechanical interconnection.

Function in FRL Assemblies

Coupling kits reduce the need for intermediate piping between filter, regulator, and lubricator. Endplates define the interface to the air line. Mounting brackets transfer load to the panel or support base, minimizing stress on threaded connections.

Selection Criteria

Selection is based on:

• Unit size: A-0, A-1, A-2, or A-3
• Connection thread specification
• Number of units in the FRL assembly
• Requirement for independent panel mounting
• Access for filter replacement, draining, and pressure adjustment

Maintenance

Periodic inspection should include screw tightening, unit alignment, O-ring condition, leakage traces, and mechanical stress from piping. Incorrect endplate or coupling size can result in misalignment and leakage at the interface.
